Feel free to browse through the photos of our church picnic that was held in July. Awesome time was had by all, especially the children. But after looking real close at the photos that were taken, the grown -ups had as much fun with the inflatable slide and trampoline as the kids did.
On October 18th, Oceana Free Will Baptist held our annual "Friends and Family, Old Fashioned Day". We were
blessed that so many choose to share this day with us, it was so wonderful to see so many new faces in the church. Special
music was played by the WV Bluegrass Revival, now talk about some good ole fashioned bluegrass gospel music, we had it all.
The message was brought forth by Brother Benny Blankenship, pastor of the Greenbranch Free Will Baptist church in Man,WV.
After everyone was feed by the Word and enjoyed the awesome music, we headed out to the Ladies Aide Building where a bounty
of food had been prepared by the ladies of the church. Also during our Friends and Family day, we took a
few moments to recognize and honor Wes Cook and his wife Evelyn. Wes has served the Oceana Free Will Baptist Church as a deacon
for over 17 years. Thank you Wes for all that you have done for the church. (photo # 10)
